SEPTEMBER 2014 up till now: Established the Department of Architecture in the Bahri Ahlia College in Khartoum South and appointed head of department.

November 2011 up till now: Established the department of Architecture in the Al Gazira College of Technology in Khartoum North, Sudan. Appointed head of the Department until the termination of my term of office in September in 2014 but still a staff member there.

December 2011 up till now- Architecture Program – Gezira College of Technology.

2002– A leading member in a committee entrusted with establishing and designing curricula for the department of Landscape Architecture for the College of Agriculture, Omdurman Islamic University- Sudan.

2002– Team- design of the curricula intended to up upgrade the Interior Design program to the B. Sc. Level. Omdurman Ahlia University- Sudan.

2000 – Covered the part about the Sudan- six entries- in the Encyclopedia of the Vernacular Architecture of the World edited by Prof. Paul Edward and published by the University of Cambridge Publishing House.

2005 – Selected and assigned with another colleague by the Centre for the Study of the Architecture in the Arab Region to document contemporary Sudanese architecture in the 20th century.

1982 – Editor for a journal published by the Postgraduate Studies, Department of Architecture- University of Edinburgh.

2010– Design of the city library of Omdurman the twin city of Khartoum.

2007– Design and supervision of the H. Q. of the Islamic Insurance Company- a thirteen storey tower- Khartoum.

2006- 2005: Design of several villas, apartment buildings and office buildings for different clients- Sudan.

1993: Planning and design of the students’ main central area and services facilities in the new campus of the Omdurman Islamic University, Omdurman- Sudan.

1992: Design of the mosque of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture- University of Khartoum.

1984: Redesign of a church in Edinburgh converted to an Islamic center.

1977: Participated in preparing the planning and design of the main buildings in the proposed new campus for the University of Khartoum at Soba district. Khartoum, Sudan.

1975 – 1976: Participated with another colleague in the design of al Nileen Mosque at Omdurman- the official mosque. Sudan.

1975: Participated as part of Abdel Moniem Mustafa Consultancy Office in the planning and design of the housing estate of Cothino GINNING Factory, Port Sudan. Sudan.
